A girl’s Prom Night can be a very important event… and how sad if the family can’t afford a nice dress.  A Friends Board member and some of her friends set out to do something about this problem.

Julie Cox, board member of the Friends and several of her hard working friends made plans to collect prom dresses for girls who need them.  And did they ever succeed!

After collecting 483 dresses and sorting them by size, this group set off to get these dresses to deserving girls from Na’alehu to Hilo. Happy Prom Night, girls!
