The Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii and the FRIENDS are housed in an older craftsman style house that can need some maintenance and cleaning from time to time. The Akaka Falls Lions Club (another honorée of our 2019 Gala) have helped clean, paint, repair and “spruce up” the Center over many years.

Arriving in their signature yellow T-shirts, the Lions take on tasks, both large and small.  Repairing window screens, sanding and painting the porch, washing the plastic toys that are handled by many small fingers… it doesn’t matter to the hard working Lions. Mahalo, Akaka Falls Lions Club members!
