History

The Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii (Friends) is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1990 by concerned community members. Our mission is to help sexually, physically, and emotionally abused and neglected children. We do this in partnership with the Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii and community agencies that work with children and families by providing resources to meet these children’s needs. The Friends offer hope, encouragement, and opportunity for victims of child abuse.
